Bill S-203 Discussion: Ending Cetacean Captivity in Canada

  • LSC 5th Floor Biology Lounge (map)

Join DAMS for a discussion forum on March 7th at 6pm in the 5th floor biology lounge of the LSC building.

Andrew Fenton and Letitia Meynell, two philosophy and ethics professor at Dalhousie will be joining the group for insight on Bill S-203.

Bill S-203 if passed, would ban the import, export, breeding and detainment of cetaceans within Canada. The bill is currently sitting in the senate. We need more folks to get involved to push this bill through.

Come with questions and comments to help us figure out a way the Dal student body can get involved to help!

Letitia and Andrew will also be talking about a possible whale sanctuary that may be built off the NS coast!!

Refreshment and snacks will be provided! Will try to keep it vegan!
